For many years, I’ve had the privilege of building a rewarding career as a federal civil rights trial lawyer, representing clients in high-profile matters across the country. Advocating for others to make a positive difference has been the foundation of my professional life, and it remains work that I deeply value.

Alongside that career has always been another calling – creating beautiful spaces that bring people comfort, joy, and connection.

Friends and family have often said that I should have been an interior designer, and perhaps they were onto something. I’ve always been fascinated by the way thoughtful design can transform not only a room, but the way people feel within it. I love carefully layering color, texture, furnishings, and décor to create spaces that feel peaceful, welcoming, and effortlessly beautiful.

That lifelong passion inspired me to lovingly restore a historic bungalow in the heart of downtown Frederick. My vision was to create a beautiful space to support our local wedding, photography, and creative communities. With great care and attention to every detail, I transformed the old bungalow into Campbell Creek Styling – a place where timeless charm meets thoughtful design and where meaningful moments can unfold.

Today, Campbell Creek Styling offers an elegant getting-ready space where wedding parties can relax, celebrate, and prepare for one of the most important days of their lives. It also serves as a versatile studio for photographers and creatives seeking a beautiful, inspiring backdrop for their work.

Every detail has been intentionally chosen to create an atmosphere of warmth, serenity, and understated elegance. My hope is that from the moment you walk through the door, you feel welcomed, at ease, and inspired.

Looking back, I realize my legal career and passion for design have always been connected. Whether advocating for others or creating spaces where people can celebrate, gather, and create lasting memories, my greatest fulfillment comes from making a positive difference in people’s lives.
